Departure
Patients
are discharged on the advice of the practitioner in charge of their
visit. Should you wish to leave against medical advice, you should
sign a discharge slip which will free the clinic and the doctor
of all responsibility for potential consequences.
Before leaving the clinic, you should present yourself
at the departure office where you will have several
formalities to complete.
Before your departure :
- the nurse will give you back your X-rays and all test results
- the discharge office will present you with a detailed invoice
and certificates for hospital treatment.
You may pay for your treatment
by cheque, bank card, or in cash. Costs paid in full by insured
parties are reimbursed directly to the clinic.
The following should be paid by the patient
or insurance company:
Daily lump sum or deterrent fee and catering supplements (private
room, telephone, television, fax, drinks, newspapers, guest meals
).
Transportation of patients in ambulances :
Should you require patient transfer, a vehicle suited to your state
of health will be ordered (ambulance, small ambulance, etc.). In
the event that the ambulance company does not work under the "third
party payment" system, ambulance transfer will be paid by the
patient who will then claim reimbursement from Sécurité
Sociale.
Residential care homes :
Should you require a transfer to a residential
care home we request that you contact the Head Nurse at the beginning
of your visit.
Arbitration Committee :
An arbitration committee exists within the clinic
and may be called upon by any patient. The committee functions on
a permanent basis on Tuesday afternoons.
The committee is there to help you and to investigate the prejudice
of which you feel a victim, and to offer you the explanations that
you are seeking for by indicating the available channels which are
open to you.
The doctor in charge of this committee and the clinic management
are at your disposal for any claims you may make.
Departure questionnaire :
This questionnaire has been designed as a platform
for you to express your appreciation, suggestions and criticisms,
which will be of use to us in improving the quality of our services.
Le comité de lutte contre les infections
nosocomiales (CLIN) - (Committee for the Prevention of Nosocomial
Infection) :
This committee is made up of members of the
medical, paramedical, care and administrative staff. The committee
works to prevent infection, and implements hygiene and safety monitoring
facilities...
