Clinique International du Parc Monceau

Outpatient care

Outpatient care means a shorter hospital stay, allowing you to return home quickly and convalesce in your familiar surroundings.

The day before your operation, your arrival time will be confirmed by telephone or text message. You will need to make arrangements in accordance with the department's instructions.

  • On the day of your operation, your file must be complete. You should report to the main reception desk.
  • Failure to comply with the pre-operative protocol may result in the cancellation of your operation and the invoicing of an additional preparation fee.

If you have any questions about the outpatient protocol, please do not hesitate to contact one of the nurses on the ward:

  • TEL: 01 48 88 26 31
  • Monday to Friday, 7am to 9pm.

Social security covers accommodation in multi-bedded cubicles.

Single rooms offer a more comfortable stay, with flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi access and a water point.

  • The establishment offers you single rooms on your arrival and on your return from the operating theatre, subject to availability on the day of your admission.
  • The price is given to you when you are pre-admitted and is displayed in the admissions department. The cost may be partially or fully covered by certain mutual insurance companies.

Visitors are not permitted in the outpatient department.

It is compulsory to be accompanied by a third party when you are discharged, whatever your means of transport.

  • The accompanying person must be declared before admission and must be present at the outpatient department reception desk at the scheduled discharge time.
  • If there is no accompanying person, the operation will be cancelled.
  • After signing the discharge form, the accompanying person will take you home.
  • Accompanying persons are not allowed to stay in the department.
  • The time of discharge will be notified to the accompanying person by telephone.
  • If there is no accompanying person, the patient will not be able to leave the establishment, and the necessary accommodation will trigger a hotel supplement.
  • Taxi drivers are not considered to be accompanying persons.

You will be served a snack as prescribed by the anaesthetist.

  • The snack is intentionally light.
  • For reasons of hygiene and safety, food and drink are not permitted.
